The Yavapai County Recorder's Office is a county government office in Arizona that records and preserves public documents (deeds, liens, plats and other land records), manages voter registration and election administration functions for Yavapai County, issues and maintains certain vital and historical records, and provides public access to recorded documents and election information.
Engages with or provides technical input on policies affecting election administration and voter registration, public records access and retention, land and property recording, records modernization and technology procurement, and election security and chain-of-custody procedures.
Funded primarily through the Yavapai County general fund and operational revenues such as recording and document fees, with occasional state or federal grants and vendor-supported services.
Yavapai County Board of Supervisors and County Administration; the elected Yavapai County Recorder (officeholder); Arizona Secretary of State and other county election officials; and technology/vendor partners such as Tyler Technologies.
