Federal Bill Scorecards are LIVE!

Our democracy elves have been working hard to deliver your super duper early Christmas present—Congressional accountability!  Now, you can easily track what voters wanted in the Voatz app versus how your legislators voted on the same bill. Click the bill links below to see the National and State-level maps of what voters wanted, then scroll to the House and Senate tabs to see how each legislator voted. The "score" at the top right of the page represents the percentage of legislators who voted the way their districts wanted on this bill. You can share any bill page on social media to let your legislators, organizations, or friends know the issues you care about.

Support democracy this Giving Tuesday

Democratic innovation isn't free. Our team of software developers, legislative analysts, and organizers are all graciously volunteering their time to this community effort. But, we still have to pay for servers, software licensing, email and text communications, and travel to events. Please help us continue this work by making a tax-deductible contribution for Giving Tuesday (now through December 2nd). We're very pleased to announce that Dr. John R. Patrick has offered to match up to $5000 of your donations, so that you can double your impact! Even the smallest contributions have a huge impact, because it takes all of us to build a more accountable, transparent, and voter-centered version of American democracy.

HR 4004 (No Anonymity in Immigration Enforcement Act of 2025) - This bill requires U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to not wear facial coverings during enforcement operations, ensuring clear identification with garments displaying their name and agency. Exceptions allow for protective gear in major threats or for safety. Procedures are in place for compliance, review, and penalties for violations. Reports on discipline actions and complaints are annually submitted to Congress.

HR 4873 (Preventing woke AI in the Federal Government) - This bill aims to make Executive Order 14319 a permanent law. The Executive Order focuses on stopping the use of 'woke' artificial intelligence within federal agencies. By codifying this order, it seeks to ensure federal AIs do not use cultural or social biases in their operations, promoting fair and unbiased technology use.

S 2392 (Veterans Compensation Cost of Living Adjustment Act of 2025) - The bill aims to increase, starting December 1, 2025, the compensation rates for veterans with service-connected disabilities and for the survivors of some disabled veterans. Adjustments include benefits like wartime disability compensation, additional compensation for dependents, clothing allowances, and indemnity compensation for spouses and children, corresponding to Social Security increases.

S 260 (Bottles and Breastfeeding Equipment Screening Enhancement Act) - This bill aims to improve the hygienic handling of breast milk and baby formula during TSA screenings. The TSA is required to issue guidance to prevent contamination of these items and consult with maternal health organizations. An audit by the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General will assess compliance and the impact of screening technologies.

HR 372 (Drug Testing for Welfare Recipients Act) - The bill mandates drug tests for certain welfare program applicants aged 18 and above. Assistance is denied if individuals fail or refuse tests, unless completing treatment and retesting negative. States must assess arrest records for drug offenses over five years. Housing assistance under similar conditions is also affected. Administrative costs cannot be imposed on individuals for drug testing.
