About the Organization

ADOS Mississippi is the Mississippi state chapter of the ADOS (American Descendants of Slavery) Advocacy Foundation, a grassroots civic and policy organization focused on improving the social, economic, environmental, and political well-being of descendants of chattel slavery and other disenfranchised communities in Mississippi.

Policy Goals

Reparations, racial justice, environmental justice, housing, criminal justice reform, civic engagement, community organizing, disaster response, and volunteer-led mutual aid

Funding

Primarily donations, memberships, and fundraising support through the ADOS Advocacy Foundation and related grassroots contributions
