Alliance for Safe Online Pharmacies (ASOP Global) is a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization founded in 2009 that works to protect consumers from illegal online drug sellers and counterfeit medicines while promoting safe access to legitimate medications online.
Consumer protection, public health, drug safety, online pharmacy regulation, counterfeit medicine enforcement, internet marketplace oversight, patient education, and cross-border enforcement against illegal online drug sales.
Primarily supported by membership dues, contributions from member organizations, and related nonprofit foundation and grant support for education and research activities.
