The American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) is a nonprofit professional membership organization for addiction psychiatrists and other clinicians focused on substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Its mission is to promote evidence-based research, education, training, and clinical treatment in addiction psychiatry, while also advancing public policy and workforce development in the field.
