The Virginia state branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), a membership-based nonprofit that advances gender equity for women and girls through research, education, advocacy, public outreach, and member programs; AAUW of Virginia focuses on state and local policy advocacy, voter and community education, and supporting leadership and STEM opportunities for women and girls in Virginia.
