The Amusement & Music Operators Association (AMOA) is a U.S.-based trade association that represents companies and individuals engaged in the sale, distribution, manufacture and operation of coin‑operated amusement and music equipment. AMOA’s mission is to strengthen and promote the coin‑op industry by providing member education, business services, networking, industry events and legislative advocacy on behalf of operators, distributors and manufacturers.
Advocacy on coin‑operated amusements and music industry issues including state and local regulation of machines and locations, music and jukebox royalty matters, taxation and fee policies affecting operators, rules governing redemption/gaming and prize payouts, content/advisory standards for arcade games, trade and import policy affecting equipment, and workforce/industry education initiatives.
Primarily funded by membership dues, trade show and event revenue (Amusement Expo and other industry events), sponsorships and advertising, and fees for member services and publications.
American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA), AMOA Coin‑Op Cares Education & Charitable Foundation, regional/state affiliates such as the Georgia Amusement & Music Operators Association (GAMOA) and Indiana AMOA (IAMOA), and industry events such as Amusement Expo; notable industry leaders and scholarship programs associated with AMOA leadership and the Wayne E. Hesch Memorial Scholarship.
