About the Organization

The Arkansas Broadcasters Association is a trade association that represents Arkansas radio and television stations. Its mission is to promote and protect a favorable economic and regulatory climate for broadcasting, provide member services, and educate the public about free over-the-air broadcasting.

Policy Goals

Broadcast regulation, FCC compliance, advertising policy, public education messaging, workforce development, broadcasting education and training, and state and federal advocacy on issues affecting radio and television stations.

Funding

Primarily funded by station participation in its Public Education Partnership (PEP/NCSA) program, along with member dues, sponsorships, and related member services.

Member radio and television stations across Arkansas; Hargraves Consulting lobbyists Lucas Hargraves and Amanda Story; National Association of Broadcasters; Washington, D.C. counsel Frank Montero; in-state counsel Michael Goswami.
