The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is a national trade association representing commercial construction firms, specialty contractors, suppliers and service providers. AGC advocates for policies that support a strong construction industry, promotes contractor-level best practices in safety and quality, and advances workforce development and training.
Federal and state infrastructure investment and funding, public procurement and contracting rules, construction safety and OSHA implementation, workforce development and apprenticeship programs, labor and immigration policies affecting the construction workforce, tax and financing policies for construction projects, and regulatory reform affecting construction costs and project delivery.
Membership dues and fees from construction companies and contractors, sponsorships and paid events, publications and training program revenue, and contributions to affiliated political funds.
