Brightmoor Connection is a Detroit-based community nonprofit focused on addressing hunger, food insecurity, and related basic needs in the Brightmoor neighborhood and surrounding areas. It operates a client-choice food pantry and community outreach programs, often in partnership with local churches and service organizations.
Food security, anti-hunger efforts, community wellness, housing and renter support, homebuyer education, basic needs assistance, and neighborhood-based social services.
Primarily supported by charitable donations, foundation grants, and in-kind/community partner support; the organization has also reported funding from the Fisher Foundation, Gleaners of Southeast Michigan, and United Way.
