About the Organization

The Colorado Broadcasters Association is a statewide trade association for Colorado radio and television broadcasters. Founded in 1949, it says its mission is to build a stronger broadcast industry and it provides member services, advocacy, scholarships, awards, and industry resources.

Policy Goals

Broadcasting and media policy, FCC and state regulatory issues, public records and access to courts, emergency communications, copyright/licensing, press credentials, and other issues affecting radio and television stations.

Funding

Primarily funded by membership dues and association program revenue, including sponsorships and fees from member services and events.

Affiliates

Colorado radio and television stations, broadcast executives, and its Board of Directors made up largely of active broadcasters; President and CEO Justin Sasso is a prominent leader of the organization.
