Community Alliance for Teen Safety (CATS) is a New Hampshire-based nonprofit coalition focused on protecting youth and families through safety education, prevention, and community partnerships. It was formed in 1996 in response to teen deaths linked to distracted driving, lack of seatbelt use, and the need for stronger parent involvement in driver education.
Youth safety, distracted driving prevention, seatbelt use, substance misuse prevention, bullying prevention, mental health awareness, and broader community health and injury-prevention initiatives.
Primarily supported by grants, donations, and community partnerships; it has also received public and private safety-related grant funding.
