About the Organization

Emgage Action is the 501(c)(4) advocacy arm of the Emgage family that mobilizes Muslim American communities for political engagement and public policy advocacy; it promotes civic participation, lobbies Congress on civil liberties and human-rights issues, and advances policy campaigns on voting rights, anti‑Islamophobia, and international human-rights concerns.

Policy Goals

Voter mobilization and civic engagement, civil liberties and anti‑Muslim bigotry, immigration and refugee protections, voting rights and election policy, criminal justice reform and anti‑extremism, and U.S. foreign‑policy positions focused on human‑rights issues (e.g., Palestine, Rohingya, Kashmir, Uyghurs).

Funding

Primarily individual donations and membership dues, supplemented by fundraising tied to affiliated political committees and occasional foundation or grant support.

Affiliates

Emgage (parent network), Emgage PAC, Emgage Foundation, state Emgage chapters (e.g., Emgage Florida, Emgage Michigan), and senior leaders such as Wa'el Alzayat and Iman Awad.
