The Feminist Majority Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1987 that works to advance gender equality, women’s rights, and social, political, and economic justice for women and girls in the United States and globally. The organization engages in research, education, public policy advocacy, and grassroots organizing to promote feminist principles and eliminate discrimination.
The organization advocates for reproductive rights, equal pay and workplace equity, prevention of gender-based violence, education equity, healthcare access, LGBTQ+ rights, voting rights, and the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment. It also supports policies expanding access to abortion and contraception and strengthening legal protections against discrimination and harassment.
Primarily funded through individual donations, foundation grants, and philanthropic contributions.
