About the Organization

The Florida Association of Community Health Centers (FACHC) is a statewide nonprofit membership organization that represents and supports Florida’s federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) and community health centers. Its mission is to expand access to high-quality, affordable primary and preventive health care services for medically underserved and uninsured populations throughout Florida.

Policy Goals

FACHC advocates for policies that strengthen the community health center network, expand access to primary and preventive care, support Medicaid and Medicare funding, promote workforce development for health professionals, enhance behavioral and oral health services, and address health equity and social determinants of health.

Funding

Primarily funded through membership dues from community health centers, federal and state grants, and program service revenue.

Affiliates

Affiliated with Florida’s federally qualified health centers and the National Association of Community Health Centers.
