Florida Voices for Health is a statewide nonprofit coalition that amplifies firsthand health and oral health stories to advance more accessible, affordable, and equitable health policy in Florida through community engagement, storytelling, training and grassroots advocacy.
Medicaid strengthening and expansion, access to affordable coverage and ACA enrollment support, oral health access and workforce/coverage reforms, disability access and accommodations, rural health access, health equity and consumer-centered health policy
Primarily funded by philanthropic foundation grants and project-specific awards, supplemented by charitable donations, event sponsorships, and small donor support (has received grants from national health foundations and partners)
Convenor of the Florida Oral Health Alliance, grantee/partner relationships with national oral health funders such as CareQuest Institute for Oral Health, coalition members including community-based organizations, health care providers, patient groups and labor unions; leadership includes Executive Director Scott Darius and Board Chair Meagan Bell
