The Humanization Project is a U.S.-based nonprofit that amplifies the voices and life stories of people incarcerated to build public understanding and advance more humane treatment. Through writing and correspondence programs, research, creative events and public education, the organization seeks to reduce stigma, oppose inhumane practices (e.g., solitary confinement), and promote reentry and second‑chance policies.
