About the Organization

The International Slurry Surfacing Association (ISSA) is a nonprofit trade association that promotes the use of slurry seal, micro surfacing, chip seal, and crack treatment technologies for pavement preservation. It provides training, education, technical standards, and industry best practices to contractors, suppliers, engineers, and public agencies worldwide, with a mission to advance and advocate for cost-effective pavement preservation solutions.

Policy Goals

Transportation and infrastructure policy related to pavement preservation, roadway maintenance funding, public works standards, construction specifications, and promotion of sustainable and cost-effective surface treatment technologies.

Funding

Membership dues from contractors, suppliers, consultants, and industry stakeholders, along with revenue from conferences, training programs, and industry events.

Affiliates

Pavement Preservation & Recycling Alliance (PPRA), member contractors and suppliers in the slurry seal and micro surfacing industry, and a board of directors composed of industry executives and technical experts.
