The Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) is a trade association that represents companies involved in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of interstate natural gas transmission pipelines and related infrastructure. INGAA’s mission is to promote safe, reliable, efficient and environmentally responsible delivery of natural gas by advocating for policies and practices that support pipeline infrastructure and system integrity.
Advocates for federal and state regulatory and legislative policies that support pipeline construction and permitting, streamlined environmental review and NEPA reform, clear FERC and pipeline safety rules, infrastructure investment and financing, market access for natural gas and LNG, emissions reduction and methane mitigation approaches compatible with industry operations, and workforce training and standards.
Primarily funded by membership dues and fees from pipeline companies and affiliated industry firms, sponsorships and revenue from events, publications and training programs.
INGAA Foundation and a membership of major interstate pipeline companies and service providers, including prominent firms such as Kinder Morgan, Williams, TC Energy, Enbridge, Dominion and other transmission operators and industry suppliers.
