The Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust (LECET) is a labor-management partnership organization established to promote cooperation between unionized construction contractors and members of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA). Its mission is to enhance job opportunities for union laborers, strengthen the union construction industry, and advocate for policies that support infrastructure investment and economic growth.
Infrastructure investment, prevailing wage laws, workforce development and apprenticeship programs, construction industry standards, and policies that promote union labor and economic development.
Employer contributions negotiated through collective bargaining agreements with unionized contractors.
