About the Organization

The Latino Community Fund of Washington is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit philanthropic organization that invests in Latino-led and Latino-accountable programs across Washington State. LCF cultivates leaders, makes grants, provides capacity building, and runs programs in civic engagement, health access, arts and culture, youth leadership and environmental justice to improve the well-being of Latino families and communities.

Policy Goals

Typically advances policies and initiatives that expand civic engagement and voter participation, increase access to health care and public benefits, support immigrant and family services, promote education and youth leadership, pursue economic and environmental justice for frontline communities, and encourage equitable philanthropic investment in Latino communities.

Funding

Primarily funded by philanthropic contributions from private foundations and individual donors, corporate sponsorships, grant partnerships (including public grants), fundraising and program service revenue.

Affiliates

Partners and affiliates include Latino-led community organizations and coalitions across Washington such as El Centro de la Raza, Casa Latina, Consejo Counseling & Referral Service, Community to Community Development, Philanthropy Northwest and collaborative efforts like the Frontline Funding Collaborative.
