About the Organization

The Michigan Association of Broadcasters is a state trade association that represents and serves radio and television broadcasters in Michigan. It advocates for the interests of broadcasters, supports industry collaboration, and promotes excellence in broadcasting and community service.

Policy Goals

Broadband and communications policy, broadcast regulation, FCC and state regulatory matters, public notice and advertising rules, political advertising, media ownership, workforce development, and other legislation affecting radio and television stations.

Funding

Primarily funded by membership dues, event and conference revenue, sponsorships, and related industry support.

Affiliates

Member radio and television stations across Michigan; industry partners and associate members; state and national broadcasting organizations; leadership and board members drawn from Michigan broadcasters.
