About the Organization

Mothers Against Prescription Drug Abuse (MAPDA) is a family-led advocacy organization founded in 2011 by mothers affected by the opioid epidemic. It focuses on preventing prescription drug misuse and overdose, supporting recovery, and raising public awareness about the harms of prescription drug abuse.

Prescription drug misuse prevention, opioid overdose prevention, naloxone access, public education, recovery support, and opioid policy reform
