The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) is the national professional association for EMS clinicians, including EMTs, advanced EMTs, paramedics, emergency medical responders, and related prehospital professionals. Its mission is to represent and serve the EMS profession through advocacy, education, and research.
EMS workforce recruitment and retention, practitioner and patient safety, reimbursement and funding for EMS, rural and underserved access, integration with the healthcare system, community paramedicine, and EMS education and training.
Primarily member dues, education and training program revenue, and donations/support through affiliated foundation and advocacy activities.
