About the Organization

The National Behavioral Health Association of Providers (NBHAP) is a national membership association for behavioral health and addiction treatment providers. It focuses on education, compliance resources, standards development, and advocacy for organizations and professionals in the behavioral health field.

Policy Goals

Behavioral health and addiction treatment regulation, provider compliance, licensing and operational standards, workforce education and training, and advocacy on laws and regulations affecting treatment providers.

Funding

Primarily membership dues, educational program fees, sponsorships, and related service revenue.

Affiliates

Formerly known as the American Addiction Treatment Association (AATA). It serves treatment centers, clinicians, counselors, attorneys, advisors, and other behavioral health industry stakeholders.
