The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) is the U.S. trade association that represents cattle producers and the beef industry, advocating for public policy, market development, research, and producer education to support a viable cattle sector and expand demand for beef.
Agricultural and livestock policy, trade and market access, animal health and biosecurity, transportation and infrastructure, environmental and grazing regulation, tax and labor policies affecting ranchers, and promotion/research initiatives for beef demand and sustainability practices.
Primarily funded by member dues, industry sponsorships and event fees, program service revenue and grants, with certain activities supported by beef checkoff-funded promotion and research programs.
Cattlemen’s Beef Board and National Cattlemen’s Foundation, state cattlemen’s and cattlewomen’s associations, major beef processors and supply-chain partners, and prominent ranching leaders and industry advocates.
