About the Organization

The National League of Cities (NLC) is a non-profit organization that represents and advocates for the interests of municipal governments across the United States. Founded in 1924, NLC works to strengthen and promote cities, towns, and villages by providing policy advocacy, research, technical assistance, and leadership development for local officials.

Municipal governance, federal funding for local governments, infrastructure investment, public safety, housing, economic development, transportation, broadband access, sustainability, and intergovernmental relations
