About the Organization

The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) is the national trade association representing producers of crushed stone, sand, and gravel, as well as related equipment manufacturers and service providers. Formed in 2000 through the merger of the National Stone Association and the National Aggregates Association, NSSGA serves as the leading voice and advocate for the aggregates industry, advancing public policies that support infrastructure development, domestic energy production, and the safe, environmentally responsible use of construction materials essential to the U.S. economy.

Policy Goals

Federal and state policies related to infrastructure investment, transportation reauthorization, environmental permitting and regulation, tax policy, workforce development, mining and land use regulation, energy production, and occupational safety standards affecting the aggregates and construction materials industries.

Funding

Primarily funded through member dues, program service revenue, industry events, and related services, with limited additional revenue from investments and contributions.

Member companies across the aggregates industry; ROCKPAC (the association’s political action committee); National Ready Mixed Concrete Association; National Asphalt Pavement Association; Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
