About the Organization

The Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters is a statewide trade association for commercial radio and television stations in Oklahoma. Its mission is to serve the public interest by promoting cooperation, professionalism, and the prosperity of its member broadcasters.

Policy Goals

Broadband and telecommunications policy, broadcasting regulation, FCC and state legislative issues affecting radio and television stations, public-interest broadcasting, tax and fee issues, and media-related education and workforce development.

Funding

Primarily funded by membership dues, convention and event revenue, sponsorships, and related association activities.

Affiliates

Member radio and television stations across Oklahoma; board and leadership drawn from broadcast-industry executives. Historically associated with Oklahoma broadcasters such as station owners, general managers, and industry leaders.
