About the Organization

Resist is a Boston-based philanthropic organization that provides no-strings-attached grants to frontline grassroots groups working for social justice and liberation. Founded in 1967 out of opposition to the Vietnam War, it now supports movements focused on racial justice, gender equality, LGBTQ+ freedom, immigrants’ rights, abolition, anti-war organizing, and economic and environmental justice.
