About the Organization

Texas Environmental Justice Advocacy Services (T.E.J.A.S.) is a Houston-based environmental justice organization that works with communities affected by industrial pollution, especially in East Houston and the Houston Ship Channel region. Its mission is to educate residents about environmental health risks, build community power, and promote enforcement of environmental laws and public participation in decision-making.
