The Climate Reality Project is a nonprofit climate advocacy organization founded by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore. Its mission is to recruit, train, and mobilize people to advance just climate solutions and speed the transition from fossil fuels to clean energy. The CT Chapter is a local Connecticut chapter within the organization’s U.S. chapter network.
Climate and clean energy policy, emissions reduction, environmental justice, renewable energy deployment, and advocacy for state, local, and federal action on climate change.
Primarily supported by charitable donations and other philanthropic contributions to The Climate Reality Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
