Veterans For Peace is a national nonprofit membership organization of military veterans and allies that works to expose the costs of war, advocate for peaceful conflict resolution, promote nuclear disarmament, support veterans' well‑being, and redirect public resources from militarism to human needs and social justice.
Advocacy for anti‑war and demilitarization policies, reduction and reallocation of military spending to domestic and humanitarian priorities, nuclear nonproliferation and disarmament, veterans' healthcare and benefits, and promotion of diplomatic and nonviolent alternatives to armed conflict.
Primarily funded by individual donations and membership dues, supplemented by fundraising events and foundation grants.
