The Florida Education Association (FEA) is a statewide teachers’ union representing educators, education support professionals, and higher education faculty across Florida. Its mission is to advocate for public education, promote professional excellence, and protect the rights and working conditions of its members while supporting student success.
FEA typically advocates for increased public education funding, higher teacher salaries and benefits, collective bargaining rights, smaller class sizes, retirement security, academic freedom, and policies that strengthen public schools and oppose privatization measures such as school vouchers and expansion of charter schools.
The organization is primarily funded through membership dues from educators and education support professionals.
